A Marne Mind

Many who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder do not realize what is going on inside themselves. Unfortunately, those who return home from combat or who have experienced any other type of traumatic event remain in the battle which is the war within. Could it be that PTSD is merely physiological symptoms related to trauma or is it so much more than that? The truth is that no matter how much pain we have endured in life there is real healing. A Marne Mind explains the advantage of coping skills and the relation among physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual ruin and well-being while constantly pointing to the greatest source of healing. Join the Marne Mind Mission of spreading awareness about PTSD and Recovery.

Cy has served in the United States Army for thirteen years as an Armored Crewman, an Instructor, and a Tank Commander. He has been deployed five times to places such as Bosnia, Kuwait, and three combat tours to Iraq. For the majority of his life he has struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Looking back he is aware that he showed prominent symptoms of PTSD as a child following his brother'...s suicide. Cy's PTSD symptoms were only amplified by traumatic events experienced in Operation Iraqi Freedom. For years he never sought treatment for his issues due to a lack of awareness of what was going within him. Through various forms of treatment and self-educating and most of all a spiritual reconnection with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ he has discovered how to properly recover from the war within. The difference in him now from who he was in the not so distant past is like night and day and it is his mission to reach out and help others by showing those who are still suffering what has helped him achieve and maintain successful recovery with PTSD. Cy currently lives on Fort Knox, Kentucky where he is being medically separated from the Army because of his past struggles with this disorder and it is his goal to help as many soldiers as he can discover the source of ultimate healing, Jesus Christ
